Video Of The Week.

So the X-Factor finished almost two weeks ago now but I'm so glad Little Mix won! The first group to win and I love the song, the video however is a bit boring and it seems like not alot of effort has gone in to it but hey ho I'm sure their next video will be amazing! Alot slower then my previous video selections but I hope you love it as much as I do : )

Christmas Sparkle.

Sooo this time of the year is crazy! I've just gone back to my old job as a christmas temp just to tie me over before I go back to uni so thats taking up alot of time and then also I have endless amounts of work to be doing which is taking up even more time so everythings a bit manic at the moment but I'm excited for christmas : ) So to get me in the festive mood I'm going to share a sparkly nail tutorial with you all and hopefully you can try it out for yourselves.

I used three products, Barry M's clear top and basecoat for the first coat and then another Barry M product in 'peach melba' and then for the sort of ombre effect on top was my favourite of all time my beloved O.P.I 'rainbow connection' : ) So after applying the peach colour I gradually applied layers of rainbow connection so it created and almost fading appearance up the nail getting stronger at the top. I've done this design before and because I used glitter it stayed on for days, its ideal because I shouldn't have to do my nails until after christmas now - fingers crossed!

Sorry the final picture isn't great, it looks much better in real life : ( This look can be achieved with any glittery nail polish and complimenting colour and its good for the time of year to add even more extra sparkle!

Big Splendour.

Now I made a very naughty purchase today but one I could not resist, I was in boots with my friend and noticed everyone getting very excited about one certain product - The Soap and Glory, Big Splendour Set. I got VERY excited as I'm a massive fan of soap and glory products and it featured to of my favourite products, heel genius and hand food : ) Boots has an offer on at the moment were you can by this magnificient set reduced from £60 to just £25 and it comes in a very nice sturdy carry case/toilet bag.

Now all the products in the set are full size and no travel minis which I think is amazing value for money. When I first went in there was about a stack of 50 of them and as I was leaving 20 minutes later I would say that more then half of them had gone! It features 10 products some of which I have seen before and some products that I never knew existed so I'm looking forward to trying them out, I think a pamper night is on the cards as I'm feeling ill also :(

I will use the carry case over and over again as I always bring so much stuff back from uni and it will be ideal for transporting it all together! This product is clearly selling like hot cakes and if you would like to get your hands on one go to your nearest boots or check out the website http://www.boots.com/en/Soap-Glory-trade-Big-Splendour : ) I'll let you know after a while how all the products are going and I'm so happy I bought this :D

So move FAST girls if you want one!

December Glossybox - Festive Edition.

So I was over the moon when I received this month's glossybox - it's amazing!! They have definitely redeemed themselves from previous boxes, I literally love every product which is a first because there is always at least one that I'm not to fond of.
So the products I received were....

- Bionova Eye Wrinkle Treatment: £43
- Blink & Go Eyeshadow and Blush Palette: £14.95
- Cargo Cosmetics Classic Lip Gloss: £10
- Deborah Lippmann Nail Varnish: £16
- Rituals Foaming Shower Gel: £6.50

All prices are for the full size products and after trying the lip gloss I received I already know I'm going to be ordering another one, I received a glossy coral colour. I have been eyeing up the Deborah Lippmann nail varnishes for a while and I know there very popular in America and every colour they make is amazing, the colour 'razzle dazzle' is a deep purple with a glitter coat and it's very festive and appropriate for the time of year : )

The eyeshadow and blush pallette plus the foaming shower gel are both full sized products which makes this box more then worth the value for money. Im swaying between the blink and go product and the nail varnish as my favourite products from this box and the nail varnish remover mitt was just a nice added bonus for the month! This months box was definitely my most favourite out of all the ones I have received so far and I am looking forward to seeing what January has to offer to beat the christmas blues : )

This week's video of the week goes to the wonderful 'The Saturdays' and its their song Notorious, its a very up tempo kind of song that makes you want to get up and dance! I love the saturdays style and all of the girls have there own different style and there clothes are always amazing and very fashionable. This week's video is dedicated to the fact that I am going to see there arena concert tour next week and I'm so excited - I cannot wait! So get up and dance girls!

November Favourites.

So the time has come for November favourites, November seems to have flown by and I can't believe its already December I do love the christmas period though! I only have 5 favourites this month as I haven't really splurged this month as I'm lacking in funds with it coming to the end of the semester and with christmas looming. So here we go... (I apologise for the quality of photo!)

  • Olay Complete Care: Touch of Foundation - I love, love, love this product its amazing to use on days were you can't really be bothered and it just adds a nice tint to your skin. It gives amazing coverage and it isn't really heavy and glides nicely on to the skin.
  • Soap & Glory: Heel Genius - So girls always have problems with their feet because of the stupid shoes they always wear (I'm a fellow culprit) and they end up with blister scars and all sorts. This product is amazing to use on a night, just cover all your foot and slip on some cotton socks and in the morning you should notice the difference!
  • Body Shop: Mango Body Butter - This product smells so good it reminds me of summer and is a nice fresh but vibrant smell, love the packaging also as it nice and easy to find as its so bright and this one is a nice handy travel size so it fits in your bag nicely. With England being in full swing with the winter months moisturising is essential to cure dry skin and this is a very heavy moisturiser that works really well but one to be applied at night!
  • L'oreal: Glam Bronze, Brunette Harmony - Winter months are pretty dull in England and adding a bit of glow here and there is essential to cheer up the day and this is a really good bronzer which isn't really noticeable but gives a nice sheer glow. Retails at around £10 but so worth it!
  • O.P.I: Rainbow Connection - Last but certainly not least is Opi's latest addition from there muppet's collection now the picture doesn't really do it justice but I've got a previous blog post here: http://newfoundlove-s.blogspot.com/2011/11/nail-of-month.html which explains everything to do with why this nail polish and why it is out of this world!
I hope you enjoyed this month's favourites and I look forward to December favourites with lots of Christmas goodies!

November Glossybox.

So this months glossybox was so hard to get hold of, I missed the first time it was delivered and then the card didn't turn up to my flat until 2 days after it had been delivered - don't have a clue what happened there! I then had to get it redelivered to a post office near me and long story short I've finally got my hands on it 6 days after it got delivered.

I'm disappointed with this month's glossybox again, none of the products stood out to me and I wasn't excited about any of them. I hate getting perfume samples I just think there pointless and none of them ever smell very nice and I certainly wouldn't pay £86 and £78 for either of them. So anyways moving on to whats in this month's glossybox:...

- Arbonne FC5 Cooling Foot Creme, £19
- Dead Sea Spa Magik, Dead Sea Bath Salts, £5.50
- Monu Skin Perfector, £16.25
- Nail Rock Designer Nail Wraps, £6.65
Serge Lutens Perfume, £86 and £78

I was disappointed to see the nail wraps again as I only just got some from a different brand in my first box which was the August one and they had some dead sea spa magik products in previous boxes. It seems like glossybox are beginning to run out of ideas and keep going back to companies they have already used, which in my opinion is not what you sign up for. I find with every box there is only one or two products I like, I'm going to try all the products as always and see what I receive in the December box and if it doesn't get better I will probably shop around and see what other boxes I like.

I still like the concept of glossybox and I think it has potential but they are going to have to get more exciting products that appeal to a younger market to keep people on board. For £12.95 a month you can't really complain to much but there other options and I'm sure people will start moving on to them.

Foot Therapy.

So me and my friend were having a pamper night and I thought it was the perfect opportunity to treat my feet. Now I loveeee soap and glory products and if I had an endless budget I would buy everything product they have ever made! The smell of their products is what draws me in the most, they smell amazing and really make you feel nice and clean and fresh. So I got my little pedicure socks on which I can't remember were they from because my sister got me them two christmas's ago, sorry guys! After every use I put them in the washing machine and they are as good as new!

I scrubed my feet in the shower first with my pumice stone and then put a generous amount of soap and glory's 'heel genius, foot cream' on and then put my little pedicure socks on : ) They are currently on still and I normally do it just before bed and leave them on all night to let the product soak in so it can work over night. Girls are notorious for wearing bad shoes that cut their feet to pieces and this is a nice way of rejuvenating your feet and giving them a little treat. The heel genius cream is £5.11 from boots to be precise and you will be able to get some similiar socks from any store like boots or superdrug or any normal pair of cotton socks will do the job.

So treat your feet, they deserve it! Much Love <3

Christmas Wishlist.

So this weeks wishlist is mostly clothes/accessories orientated with one beauty item from elf. With christmas upon the horizon I have laid off buying new items for myself and instead given them to my mum for present ideas, which I find very enjoyable! With christmas coming up also it means splurging on items is just not possible as its the time of the year to buy presents for others : )
So from left to right...

  • ASOS Lace Short With Scallop Edge (Blue or Black) - Now these shorts are amazing they could either be worn on a night out or during the day with tights for a casual look. - ASOS, £30
  •  ASOS LEIGH Patent T-Bar Ballet Shoes - I have been wanting some flat dolly shoes like this for a while and I think they would look lovely with a casual outfit with tights, I need these! - ASOS, £25
  • Margrett Scallop Edge Tee - One of the more affordable items on the list a simple scalloped t-shirt which could pretty much be worn with anything (within reason) - MissGuided, £8.99
  • ASOS Rock Crystal Long Pendant - Amazing piece of statement jewellery that would brighten up any outfit, I love this and I think it would stand out really well - ASOS, £15
  • ASOS Faux Shearling And Croc Tuck Lock Day Bag - I love, love, love this bag! I have been eyeing it up for so long now that I thought it was very appropriate for my christmas wish list. This is the most expensive item on the list but so worth it. - ASOS, £35
  • E.l.f. Professional 9 Pc. Master Set - So I need a new brush roll/set and one that is good quality and not an average set. For quite a well known brand I think this is quite cheap and affordable for those who cannot splurge like me, I really like the packaging also. - E.L.F, £15
So that is my christmas wishlist I hope I have given you some ideas for presents or gifts for yourselves, I know most of them are from ASOS but there my fave! : )
Whats on your christmas wishlist?

So Pixie Lott's new album came out last week and the more and more I listen to it the more and more I LOVE it. There is a mixture of slow songs and lots of fast songs that make you want to get up and dance to, I have her previous album and I would say I like her new album just as much as the last one they are pretty much on par with each other. So turn your speakers up and get up and dance girls to 'What do you take me for' by the beautiful Pixie Lott to celebrate the release of her new album!

Style Crush - Kim Kardashian.

Following on from my previous style crush posts I bring you the wonderful Kim Kardashian, I have watched all the series of Keeping up with the Kardashians and I must say I have style envy for all the Kardashians! The one that stands out to me the most in the style stakes is Kim but Kourtney is quickly catching up to her. Kim's glamorous and sometimes effortless style has evolved dramatically over the years and she has really come in to her own in the past two years with the increase in popularity of their shows.

Whether shes rocking red carpet glamour or a quick trip to the shops her style is always on point and her clothes choice changes everytime, I also have major hair envy also! You can tell alot of effort goes in to the making up of her outfits and she always looks amazing. So go on girls go get a bit of Kardashian glamour and check out there new clothing range 'Kardashian Kollection' and sears has just started shipping to the UK, YES!

London.

So I'm jetting off to London for the weekend tomorrow for my friends 21st Birthday, safe to say I'm very excited! I love London but I haven't been for over 2 years now and I've never done the traditional London trip of sightseeing and shopping because I have never stayed for long enough. So hopefully this weekend I will manage it, we may be heading to the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland which will be good as I love Hyde Park! So there will be no blogging this weekend but look out for some posts when I get back as I will no doubt have done alot of shopping and purchased some amazing goodies from the capital! What's your favourite thing about London?

Nail Of The Month.

Opi's 'Rainbow Connection' has to be my favourite nail varnish this month without a doubt, I must have used this polish in some way everytime I have painted my nails this month. I don't even have to say anything about it just looking at it explains why I wanted it so badly, at a price of £10 from amazon.co.uk it is pretty pricey but so worth it. I'm wearing it on my ring finger on each hand at the moment with barry m's 'Pink Flamingo' on all my other fingers - It looks amazing! It takes a few layers to get the full effect but so worth it when you see the outcome, it is from the most recent opi collection from the muppets and there are a variety of different colours. It stands out from the crowd and is an amazing glitter option if you have been looking for one recently. So go on girls get rainbow connected ;)

Touch of Foundation.

I'm not a massive foundation fan I very rarely wear it, my friend knew this and recommended Olays 'touch of foundation - even complexion' with a hint of maxfactor foundation. Its more of a moisturiser then foundation and with the added bonus of spf 15 :) I borrowed my friends a few times before I bought my own and at a price of £7.20 you can't go wrong.

Its very light and applies with ease allowing an even coverage with a soft feel. Its a good option if you are a foundation fan but want something light for during the day, I use the colour fair as I have very pale skin. So girls if your looking for an alternative to foundation or for something during the day this is a good investment!

October Favourites.

So I know I've been masively slacking with the posts lately but my life has been taken over by my dissertation and I'm finding it hard to focus on anything else! So anyway thats the boring part over with on to the exciting part, I had alot of favourite products this month and I know I'm a bit late with it practically being middle of Novemeber but never mind. I had 7 favourites this month all of which I have used religiously pretty much everyday, so here they are....

  •  Clinique anti-blemish solution - now this product is amazing, you just put a little bit on a cotton bud and dab it on to your blemish and it reduces redness and helps for a quick removal of the problem!
  • Soap and Glory Hand Cream/Food - I love this hand cream as it doesn't leave your hands greasy and smells gorgeous, this small bottle is quite cheap at around £3 I think.
  • Loreal Mythic Oil - Now I received this product in my September Glossy Box and I loved it from the get go it is widely raved about and it leaves your hair feeling amazing it gives you a definite good hair day!
  • Tresemme Heat Protector - Heat protector is an essential for any girl who regularly uses straighteners, tongs, hairdryer etc. Tresemme heat protector works as a good barrier against heat and my hair has definitely benefited from using this product and has reduced snapping.
  • Blistex Lip Massager - I think this is my 3rd tube of this in the past 2 months, for some unknown reason I always have really dry lips which is not a good luck when wearing lipstick or lipgloss. I have tried a few blistex products and this is definitely my favourite as it massages away all the dry parts (nice thought I know, sorry!)
  • Rimmel Lash Accelerator - This has to be my favourite mascara I have used in a long time and has definitely rejuvenated my eyelashes after I chopped them off - oops! It adds length and volume and two coats seems to do the job.
  • Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealor - Last but certainly not least I love this concealer, my benefit boing recently ran out and being a poor student splurging on an expensive concealor seemed rediculous. I have read many blogs and watched many videos on this concealor and everyone loved it and I can certainly say I now also love it!
I hope you enjoyed my first monthly favourites post and sorry for the massive essay I just wrote! I hope it inspires you to try out some of the products for yourself :)

October Glossy Box.

Sorry for not blogging for a whole month however I do have a very good excuse, me and my friend moved in to our new flat and the earliest date they could install the internet was the end of October and it only got activated last night! So to kick off the start of blogging again I thought a good post to do would be on Glossy Box as it proved very popular last month. This months glossy box was my third and I hate to say it but it was my least popular out of the three, I was really disappointed with this months and I hate saying that because I love everything about glossy box as a whole.

In this months Glossy Box was...

- Leighton Denney Nail Varnish in Babydoll
- Stila Waterproof Eyeliner
- Dermalogica Age Smart Masque
- Dermalogica Age Smart Thermafoliant
- Robert Piguet Perfume Samples
- Dermalogica Age Smart Lip Complex
- Dermalogica Make-Up Bag

Now there were alot of products however the only one I really got excited about was the Leighton Denney nail varnish, I wasn't overly excited about the dermalogica items as I have my skin routine sorted with the Liz Earle collection. The perfume samples are not a delightful scent and I definitely would not choose to purchase them in store and I certainly wouldn't pay £65 to buy a full sized bottle. I like the eyeliner however its not a colour I would normally choose to buy but I will give it a go and see what looks I can create with it. Overall this months glossy box was very disappointing especially because of all the hype they created around it being there 'special 6th box' I will continue subscribing to glossy box and hope that next months box is more exciting!

This has now been extended to late October which is highly annoying but unavoidable! I will try to blog on and off before then if possible however its very unlikely, so sit tight people I will be up and running soon :)

Nice Stems.

My nail varnish collection is not massive but not small either, I have been eyeing up the opi nail varnishes for a while but at a price of around £10 each I was slightly put off. I was snooping around various beauty and make-up websites the other day and came across beautybay.com and they had a vast collection of opi varnishes. I came across a gift set called 'nice stems' which had 4 polishes in a range of different pinks.

My parcel arrived this morning and I was not disappointed, the polishes are only mini but I wanted to try out various colours before I splurged on the single big ones. I got this gift set from beauty bay for £12.95 with free delivery and the colours included are (from left to right)...

-Play The Peonies, Come To Poppy, Be A Dahl-ia Won't You, I Lily Love You

My favourite polish has to be 'I Lily Love You' as its very girly and sparkly and could be overlayed over other nail varnishes or a few layers of it built up. I will post an update once I finally use the colours and let you know how I get on :)

Nail Of The Day.

Todays nail of the day is a cheap and affordable but still with alot of glamour and glitz. I purchased these two colours together about 5 months ago and used them a couple of times and then put them in a draw and forgot about them - big mistake I forgot how pretty the colours were. Both colours are from asda's george line and were about a £1 each, now I didn't expect much from them at that price however I was completely wrong. I have had the nail varnish on for 5 days now and its barely even began to chip, now my nail varnish only seems to last up to 3 days before it dramatically starts chipping. I put the bright pink colour on first in the colour 'groove' and then layered the glitter polish on top a couple of times in the colour 'pink glitz.' I love these colours together and at a price of around £1 you really can't go wrong, go get glitzy girls!

Book Worm.

This week I received my book for this month by Lindsey Kelk and its called 'The Single Girl's To-Do List.' It appealed to me straight away as the majority of my friends including me are single, now its not a long continuous list of things us single girls should be doing its actually a story about a girl called Rachel Summers and her life after being dumped. I have not started reading the book yet but I have read a book by Lindsey before called 'I Heart New York' which was an extremely good read, simple but enjoyable (a good chick book.) Closer magazine describes it as "Fun, romantic and warm, this is a perfect summer read' now I know its not summer anymore but I'm sure it will be suitable for any time of the year. This book retails at £6.99 however I got it off amazon for around £4 so not much off but worth it when you get free delivery also. I shall update you once I start reading and let you know how its coming along :)

Clothes Crazy.

I am crazy about shopping and everything to do with clothes and fashion, money just seems to burn a whole in my pocket and I always want to spend it! One of my favourite online sites to buy clothes on has to be ASOS, I discovered asos a few years and they have never disappointed. They recently introduced super saver free delivery service which is lethal for me as delivery costs sometimes sways my decision on whether to buy something and can be the overall stopper on buying anything - clever idea asos. The website has a wide selection of things to choose from including beauty items, clothing (of a wide variety), holiday shop, shoes, bags you name it they've got it. Items are reasonably priced and you can get decent items for around the £30 mark, beauty items included popular well known brands and those amazing brands that are just waiting to be discovered! I have bought a variety of things from the website mostly dresses as they do amazing going out dresses at reasonable prices. So treat yourself this weekend and don't save for a rainy day ;)

Mythic Oil.

I received this months glossy box this week and from the moment I got it I was eager to try out all the products included, the most stand out product of them all had to be the 'L'oreal Mythic Hair Oil.' I have used various oils and serums on my hair and the majority of which I have used are very beneficial to the overall finish of your hair. I have only used this product twice since receiving it once on wet hair and once on dry hair which I like as it hasn't just got one use. The oil leaves your hair feeling glossy and healthy and gives it an extra bit of shine, only a small amount of oil is neccessary and using to much will just result in greasy hair. The mythic oil retails at a price of around £12 and with this being a full sized product it is worth the same amount about as the full glossy box - which makes glossy box well worth the money. From the first two uses of this product I can tell that is a new favourite of mine, the packaging also makes the product more appealing because if I saw this in a shop I would be instantly drawn to it because of its unique packaging. The packaging matches the product superbly and they go hand in hand to create this mediterranean type image. This product is part of the L'oreal professionnel line and can be used on all hair types so it is not condensed to one target group making it a good product to be included in the glossy box. This product nourishes your hair and leaves it glowing and is the perfect finish to a hairstyle. Thanks glossy box for an amazing product and I look forward to continuing to use the 'Mythic Oil.'

Shimmer Shades.

I have been a bronzer fanatic for a long time, never really swaying from the golden shimmer that is so appealing. Recently however I have been trying to get out of my comfort zone with make-up products pushing myself to try something different such as a bold lip or a a different coloured eyeliner other than black or maybe a new blusher? no bronzer? yes something different to a bronzer. My new alternative to bronzer has to be collection 2000 shimmer shades in 'blushalicious' at an easily affordable price of £4.19. I have been eyeing up benefit's sugarbomb for a while but at a price of £23.50 it wasn't a purchase to rush in to however this product is nearly a perfect dupe with the shades being slighly different. The shades on there own are lovely and when all combined create a shimmering bright pink shade which is not to heavy, the shades on there own are also very wearable and you practically get 5 shades in one. Treat yourself this weekend girls, you deserve it and shimmer away :)

Best Ever.

I may regret saying this is in future when something better comes out (because it always happens) however 'Rimmel London's Lash Accelerator' mascara has to be the best mascara I have ever used! This is no exaggeration, it says on the tube "mascara with grow las complex" now I don't believe any of the slogans and the hype but this gives your eyelashes some serious length! My friend asked me the other day if I was wearing false eyelashes because they were so long and seperated, the wand is so easy to use as the wand is long but not to long. The website says after a period of time your lashes should feel stronger and more nourished and I must say I agree with this. I had an incident not so long ago were my eyelash curlers broke and chopped my eyelashes off - possibly the worst thing that could ever happen, after this they grew back weird and all over the place and after using this mascara they seem to have gone back to normal. At a price of £9 you can't go wrong, I was a massive fan of the falsies mascara for ages but this has to be my all time favourite! So go ahead girls, accelerate those lashes!

Style Crush - Frankie Sandford

Being a massive Saturdays fan I follow there style choices very closely, as a band there style choices are always on trend and they have impecable taste. The most noticeable saturday style comes from Frankie Sandford, combining high street brands with designer labels her style is very original. Her well copied hairstyle and edgy fashion sense makes a good combination, she combines edgy pieces but does it with a feminine flair. The floral shorts in the picture to the left I have and they were a massive bargain buy at around £8 from H&M, Frankie is widely known for her love of highstreet brands making her style accessible to the girl on a budget like myself. Allow your style to be different like Frankie's and experiment with different pieces and different styles, don't go with the generic norm and wear what everyone else is wearing; stand out from the crowd!

For more information on Frankie's style check out:

VO5 Hot Oil.

I recently went shopping with one of my friends and I was automatically drawn to the hair and beauty aisles, upon this trip she saw me eyeing up the VO5 hot oil treatment. She came over and said how she had used it when she used to swim alot to keep her hair healthy and shiny. In the packet you get 4 little tubes of the oil to which you either put in a cup of warm water to heat it up or run under the shower before you use it.

You put the oil on wet hair before using either shampoo and conditioner and leave it on for only one minute and then rinse it out and then proceed to carry on with your normal hair routine. You dont notice immediate effects obviously but once you blow dry your hair it has the 'good hair day' effect on it were you cannot stop touching your hair because it feels so soft and healthy. At a price of around £4 you cannot go wrong, I don't use it everytime I wash my hair because it is quite strong and I use it as more of a deep conditioner. Don't leave it on for longer than a minute as it is strong and could leave your hair feeling greasy and not how you expected it to turn out. This would be a great product for heat damaged hair or dry brittle hair as it leaves it feeling amazing. So go on girls go have a good hair day with VO5 hot oil treatment!     Much Love <3

Glossy Box, September.

Glossy box day is the best day of the month! The doorbell rang and I knew immediatly what it was for, I lept off the sofa and the postman handed me my beloved glossy box for the month! If some of you don't know what glossy box is its sort of like a magazine subscription however instead of getting a magazine every month you receive a box of beauty goodies, possibly the best thing ever invented for women right? and only for £12.95 including p&p!

The thing I love the most about glossy box is the packaging, the packaging was possibly one of the things that sold me on finally signing up for the service. The sturdy pink box which the products arrive in can be used again and again and helps for a safe arrival of your goodies.

Resisting all the spoilers, articles and videos about this months glossybox was very hard but worth the wait as once I opened the box I was ecstactic! In my glossy box this month was.....

- HD Brows: Eye & Brow Palette
- L'Oreal Professionnel: Mythic Oil
- Nuxe: Huile Prodigieuse
- Plum by Mary Greenwell: Perfume
- StriVectin: SD Eye Concentrate

I was amazed when I opened the box and saw the HD Brow palette and I must say this has to be the product I was the most excited about, I love the fact that it is a full size product also! The L'Oreal mythic oil is also a full size sample and I look forward to trying out all the products and telling you how I get along with them. If you were hesitating signing up for glossybox don't be, the subscription can be cancelled at any time and you are not tied down to a long term contract. So go ahead girls, go get glossy!

Rainy Days.

So I woke up this morning only to be greeted by a dingy rainy day, rainy days are designed for a lazy day on the sofa curled up with friends or the boyfriend. There is nothing better than being tucked up on the sofa with your duvet whilst the weather outside is awful with some sweets and some of your favourite movies. So here are some of my favourite movies for a typical lazy rainy day....

The Notebook is the classic chick flick, not a great film to watch if your getting over a break up but it warms your insides to see how the story unravels. Also another perfect movie to watch with your girlfriends 'Sex and the City' which combines the typical things that girls love fashion, beauty etc. However if your feeling slightly more adventurous there is nothing better than a good action film, I don't know if Harry Potter is classed as your typical action film however it is a good watch and once you've watched the first one you know there are plenty more to follow if the rain persists! So girls and boys grab the duvet, sweets & popcorn and your friends and have yourself the perfect rainy day with your favourite films!

I have been lucky when it comes to destinations I have travelled to over the years, but there are still some places I would love to visit. With the summer coming to a close and the dreaded english winter on its way having a look at some of the places I would love to visit won't do anyone any harm. Lets try and extend the summer for just a few more moments....

Most Wanted, Shoe Edition.

Most wanted shoe of the week has to be the 'Helena nude heel' which I found on a website called 'CHOCKERS.' I have lusted after many of there shoes for a while and the only pair I have bought from the website was a black basic shoe boot heel.

The prices of the shoes range depending on the type of shoe and what it is made from. This simple but elegant shoe retails at £29.99 reduced from £35, I must have these! I have had the same pair of nude heels since I was 17 (which I haven't worn for about 2 years) and they must be chucked out and replaced with a nice new pair :)

Nude heels can go with various outfits and are not purchased on a one off buy. Paired with a nice little black dress or even with a floral summer dress nude heels will never go out of fashion, however if nude isn't for you but you like the style of the heel do not fear because they come in black and various other colours. Don't hesitate ladies go forth and buy some new heels, you deserve it!

Simple & Sweet.

I love quotes, some give you a warm fuzzy feeling inside and others make you crack a massive smile. Regardless of how they make you feel they can be an inspiration for the day ahead or a little happy moment for the day, here a few of my favourites -

- Unless you love someone, nothing else makes sense.

- Success is a journey not a destination.

- Don't regret the past, just learn from it.

- Make the most of yourself for that is all there is of you.

- Smile and the world will smile back.

Liz Earle - 3 Step Routine

I have read numerous blog posts about the widely raved about Liz Earle products, trust me there worth the hype. Made with all natural ingredients they are so refreshing to use on your skin, they smell amazing aswell considering they have no artificial fragrances in them. The cleanse and polish hot cloth cleanser has won numerous awards and I can see why, after 'polishing' your skin it leaves your skin feeling radiant and bright. I have problem skin from time to time and this seems to keep this problem at bay allowing only the odd blemishes through!

The 3 step routine does not come cheap but is alot cheaper to previous brands I have used such as clinique. They however are running a special offer at the moment were you can get all 3 products for £41 plus a special gift instead of the normal recommended retail price for all 3 products of £63.25 - that is a bargain in my opinion!

When I first purchased my first Liz Earle products I bought the mini selection to get me started and to see how my skin reacted to the products. After this I was sold I swapped from clinique which I had been using for at least 2 years and began on what I hope is a long journey with the lovely Liz Earle brand.

The delivery of the items is swift and organised and the products come wonderfully packaged with a personal touch of a little note from the brand (sorry I haven't got any pictures.) If you were hesitating on buying any of the products - don't! They are worth every penny!

One Of My Favourite Blogs.

In my discovery of new blogs I came across the delightful blog 'Cupcakes & Cashmere' created by a women called Emily. One of the things I liked the most was her outfits she puts together, it has given me alot of inspiration for my own outfit choices and gives me a little bit of a push outside of my comfort zone. Alongside of her outfit choices are cute little recipes (I can't wait to try the homemade poptarts) which give you ideas you wouldn't normally think of. A combination of fashion, beauty, decor ideas and recipes makes for one of my favourite blogs.

Style Crush - Lauren Conrad.

Lauren Conrads effortless style is envied by many women, me included. She combines basic pieces and creates simple but fashionable outfits. I followed Lauren's style evolution from the widely popular show 'The Hills', me and my friends would watch together and comment on how we would die for her wardrobe!

In recent years (once I had a job and could afford my own clothes) her effortless style was always a go to for outfit inspiration and she firmly cemented herself as my style icon.

The basic pieces she is always photographed in are easy to find alternatives to in retail shops such as h&m and New Look. I recently had a look in to her new line 'paper crown' which I was hoping I would be able to find in the UK but I had no luck. The collection is amazing and is right on point with her well known style, I hope eventually it does become available in the UK.

Check out the collection here: http://www.paper-crown.com/index.html

Lauren Conrad evokes the typical california girl style which is readily available for the everyday girl, one of the many reasons as to why she is my style icon.

I hope you enjoyed my first 'proper' post and I look forward to doing more of my style crushes!
